About

Patrick Hopf is a Montreal-based science fiction author whose stories delve into the vast and complex worlds of Space Opera. Married with three children, Patrick balances family life with writing tales that explore race relations, the impact of climate change, unity, friendship, and other universal themes.

Growing up on a staple of Star Trek and Star Wars, Patrick developed a lifelong passion for science fiction. His favourite movie, Blade Runner, continues to inspire his exploration of morally complex characters and rich, immersive worlds.

His novellas serve as rich companions to their main book series, offering readers deeper insight into pivotal backstories and events, all while maintaining a distinct flavour that sets them apart.

When not crafting speculative worlds, Patrick enjoys playing squash to stay sharp, trying his hand at the drums, and diving into different music genres that fuels his creative process.

For fans of intricate sci-fi worlds, morally complex characters, and stories with heart, Patrick’s works are an exciting journey into the unknown.
